Torrance, CA—Pelican Products, Inc., introduced the Pelican 1595 Air case. This just-announced case offers a new size that is larger than the 1535 Air carry-on case. However, it is smaller than the 1615 Air check-in case. As a result, the new case is an option when you need a case larger than a carry-on without unnecessary weight.
Pelican 1595 Air
The 1595 Air case has external measurements of 28″L x 18″W x 9.5″D. Moreover, its internal measurements are 25.6″L x 15″W x 9″D. Like other cases in the Air series, the 1595 is waterproof, crushproof as well as dustproof. Furthermore, the case is IP67 and MIL-SPEC certified.
The 1595 Air case also features an automatic pressure equalization valve and Press & Pull latches. In addition, it has a retractable extension trolley handle as well as a fold-down over-molded handle. Rounding outs its features are quiet stainless-steel ball bearing wheels as well as a business card holder. Pelican is offering the case with and without foam and with Pelican’s exclusive TrekPak divider system.
The 1595 Air case will join the company’s Air series cases, which are made of a superlight proprietary HPX² polymer. It makes them weigh up to 40% less than regular polymer cases. Further, Pelican builds the cases to keep valued possessions safe while remaining portable and easier to transport.
