Santa Rosa, CA—Think Tank designed its new Think Tank Mirrorless Mover backpacks for modern mirrorless camera systems. The18-liter packs feature customizable dividers for a dedicated camera bag or a hybrid camera/everyday carry bag. For either urban or light outdoor adventures, the packs come in four two-tone colors.
Think Tank Mirrorless Mover Backpack Features
The packs feature a full divider set with a built-in horizontal split to customize for full photo or partial photo gear combined with personal items. For example, the main compartment can hold a standard mirrorless camera body, 4–6 lenses and small accessory bags. Or it can fit a standard mirrorless body and the zoom trifecta with a 70–200mm f/2.8 lens attached with its hood extended. Further the 5-liter front pocket can accommodate a light jacket and/or personal items.
In addition, the packs offer full front panel access to view, retrieve and organize all your gear. Also, a flip-top lid with a magnetic closure provides quick access to the front pocket. Moreover, there is a dedicated foam-protected sleeve that fits most 14-inch laptops. The packs also have expandable side pockets and locking compression straps for water bottles and/or a travel tripod.
Another feature is a zippered security pocket in the front pocket with clear material so you can see its contents. Plus, for comfort, there are padded shoulder straps with an adjustable sternum strap; an anatomical back panel design; as well as a lumbar pass-through that fits the Think Tank Pro Speed belt (not included). Additional features include a tuck-away waist stabilizer strap; a flat base that allows the backpack to stand up on its own; and a weight-centered top grab handle. Moreover, Think Tank includes a seam-sealed rain cover.
The Build
Employing YKK RC zippers, Think Tank makes the packs with poly 600D PU materials; poly 1260 ballistics; P200D liners; 340g Airmesh; three-ply bonded nylon thread; as well as a water-repellant (DWR) coating.
The backpacks’ exterior dimensions are 11×16.5×9 inches. Furthermore, they have interior dimensions of 10×15.5×4.8 inches. With a total volume of 18 liters, the backpacks each weigh in at 2 pounds, 13 ounces.
Think Tank offers its Mirrorless Mover backpack series in four colors: cool gray, marine blue, coast green and campfire orange. The backpack has a suggested retail price of $149.75.
