Pentax Offers Limited Edition 645D to Celebrate Grand Prix Honors

Golden, CO—Pentax Imaging Company will offer a limited edition 645D camera kit produced to celebrate the Pentax 645D being named Camera of the Year by the Camera Grand Prix Japan 2011.

The limited edition camera features a red lacquer-finished body, and the components of its kit, which will be available on a very limited basis, include: the Pentax 645D Japan camera body; a commemorative 645D Japan leather strap; a body mount cap 645D Japan; center-spot matte focusing screen DS-80; and a specially designed paulownia-wood case.

First announced in June 2010, the Pentax 645D is a high-performance medium-format digital SLR built to combine super-high-resolution digital images of approximately 40 effective megapixels with reliability.
