After more than three years in development, the Mitros is designed to do everything photographers expect from a top-of-the-line TTL flash. Its functions include built-in IR triggering with master and slave modes, the ability to act as an AF-assist light and 180º turns in both directions—all with fast recharge times. The flash unit includes a USB port for firmware upgrades and a 3.5mm sync port.
Other features include: TTL, M, multi (stroboscopic) modes; auto/manual flash head zoom with 180º rotation and 97º tilt high-speed sync and rear-curtain sync; 0.1–2.5 sec recharge times; Sony optical wireless triggering with master and slave mode; optical slave sync mode; and a port for an external battery pack.
Compatible with Phottix Odin TTL flash triggers for Sony, the Mitros for Sony retails for $349.99.
