Los Angeles, CA—The DJI DL 75mm F1.8 full-frame medium telephoto lens for 8K cinematography is natively compatible with DJI’s DL mount. The 75mm focal length accentuates a subject, enhancing the perception of spatial compression. Moreover, the wide aperture helps ensure ample light intake for low-light performance. It also features lens sharpness and minimal chromatic aberration to record 8K imagery with richer details and truer-to-life colors. DJI custom built the lens for its Inspire 3 cinema drone’s Zenmuse X9-Air gimbal camera.
DJI DL 75mm F1.8 Lens Key Features
75mm Focal: With the longest focal length in DJI’s DL-mount lens line, the lens capture images with a richer depth of field. You can shoot the details in natural landscapes, close-ups of a high-speed car chase as well as complex compositions of characters in every scene.
Ultrawide f/1.8 Aperture: The wide aperture also enables a shallower depth of field for shots that blur the background to focus on the subject.
Optical Formula: The optical structure features 10 elements in nine groups, including three extra-low dispersion lenses to combat chromatic aberrations. Further, UMC coating minimizes reflections for higher contrast, clearer images.
Maneuverable Design: Optimized for aerial cinematography, the lens boasts a carbon fiber housing. Additionally, the pitch axis and yaw axis counterweight blocks allow the drone’s gimbal to maintain flight balance.
