Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corporation announced the Instax Mini 70, featuring an updated, sleek design, a special selfie mode and a high-performance flash that automatically calculates surrounding brightness and adjusts shutter speeds accordingly.

Giving users even more options for taking instant pictures that can be shared quickly in person and online with #myinstax, the easy-to-operate Mini 70 offers several enhancements. These include: an improved viewfinder for better subject viewing; automatic exposure and flash functions; a high-key mode that enables users to take brighter photos; and a smart selfie mode that automatically adjusts settings for taking selfies using a front-facing selfie mirror. The Mini 70 also has a tripod mount for steadier up-close shots and landscape photos.

With all the benefits of instant photographer, Mini 70 photos can be passed around, viewed and shared right away—anywhere, anytime. The photos can also be used for creative and decorating projects around the house or in a college dorm room.

Instax Mini film provides instant color pictures shot at ISO 800 for clear reproduction of vivid color, natural skin tones and super fine grain. The film is a credit-card size 2×3 inches, with an image area of 1.8×2.4 inches. The film has a blank strip at the bottom so users can write a message below the photo.

Fujifilm’s Instax Mini 70 will be available in November 2015 in the U.S. in canary yellow, moon white and island blue for $139.95. Instax Mini Instant film is sold separately for $19.95 in a double pack of 20 exposures. fujifilmusa.com
