Crystal Lake, IL—Hahnemühle added FineArt Baryta Satin to its FineArt portfolio of photographic paper. FineArt Baryta Satin is a barite paper with a white and satin-gloss surface. The amount of barium sulphate in the coating in conjunction with a micro porous ink receiver layer is said to provide exceptional image results with a large color space and intensive coloring.
“FineArt Baryta Satin enables extremely deep blacks (Dmax), excellent image sharpness and is perfect for black-and-white photography,” noted a company spokesperson. “The paper’s high color density helps ensure sharpness of details to achieve high-resolution, vivid images for photography.”
The 300gsm, 100% alpha-cellulose paper features a warm-tone, white satin gloss appearance. It is acid free and age resistant.
