Pine Brook, NJ—OmegaBrandess Distribution acquired the U.S. distribution of 10 photo-specialty product lines from HP Marketing Corp. on January 15, 2015: Berlebach, Braun, BRNO, Gepe Pro, Gepe-Geimuplast, Giottos, Linhof, Rodenstock, Vue-All and Wista.

Inventory began arriving at OmegaBrandess the week of January 19, and according to a spokesperson, “It is the intention of OmegaBrandess to maintain the current pricing and product identification structure to make for a smooth transition from HP Marketing to OmegaBrandess.”

In addition, MAC Group will take over the distribution of the Gepe, Novoflex, Heliopan and Kaiser product lines from HP Marketing effective February 1, 2015.

For more than 43 years, HP Marketing Corp. was one of the leading U.S. distributors of high-tech/high-quality cameras and photographic equipment, targeting both the professional and advanced amateur photography markets.

Founded by Herbert H. Peerscke in 1971 as a distributor of primarily German-made photographic products, the company prided itself on its knowledgeable technical support and customer service.
