Kodak Winning Fotos App & Website Launches

New Platform Aims to Build a Photography Community through Photo Showcases and Personalized Feedback

Rochester, NY—Winning Fotos, a Kodak brand licensee, launched the Kodak Winning Fotos app and website. The digital platform enables photographers of all skill levels to exhibit their work in a number of themed showcases. The platform will also serve as an online community where photographers receive personalized feedback and find other resources to improve their techniques.

The critique is also accompanied by recommended resources for areas that need improvement.

Among the panel of expert photographers who help provide feedback are: Katherine Evans, Best of the Knot 2015, 2016 and 2017; Tom Saimon, a LooksLikeFilm.com Artist of the Month; and Jordan Hefler, whose photography for Pacific Sunwear was featured in Teen Vogue.

Gold, Silver and Bronze awarded photos earn cash, photography merchandise, tokens, or even career-related opportunities. In addition, community members can join a variety of showcases that run daily, weekly or monthly. All with different themes, the showcases are designed to encourage users to try new genres of photography. For the app launch, the featured showcases are Sweeping Landscapes, Up Close Art, and New Life.

“This is a platform for photographers who have the desire to improve. They are looking to get feedback from industry professionals and belong to a community of people who are passionate about photography,” said David Young, Winning Fotos’ chief executive officer. “Photography is such a powerful and universal medium that’s able to connect people from all walks of life. We want to encourage continued growth in this art form.”
