Rochester, NY—Winning Fotos, a Kodak brand licensee, launched the Kodak Winning Fotos app and website. The digital platform enables photographers of all skill levels to exhibit their work in a number of themed showcases. The platform will also serve as an online community where photographers receive personalized feedback and find other resources to improve their techniques.
Every submitted photo is analyzed by a panel of professional photographers, industry leaders as well as fellow community members. The feedback is broken into specific categories, like composition and lighting.
The critique is also accompanied by recommended resources for areas that need improvement.
Among the panel of expert photographers who help provide feedback are: Katherine Evans, Best of the Knot 2015, 2016 and 2017; Tom Saimon, a LooksLikeFilm.com Artist of the Month; and Jordan Hefler, whose photography for Pacific Sunwear was featured in Teen Vogue.
Gold, Silver and Bronze awarded photos earn cash, photography merchandise, tokens, or even career-related opportunities. In addition, community members can join a variety of showcases that run daily, weekly or monthly. All with different themes, the showcases are designed to encourage users to try new genres of photography.
