San Francisco, CA—PicsArt, makers of creativity tools for mobile photography, and olloclip are hosting a worldwide mobile photography walk. Walks will be held on May 1, 2016 starting in Tokyo, Japan, and ending in San Francisco, California.
Each walk will celebrate National Photography Month. It wil also demonstrate the “potential of the mobile device to capture, edit and share beautiful photography,” the companies noted.
Equipped with olloclip’s macro, ultrawide as well as fisheye lenses on their iPhones or Samsung Galaxy S, groups of mobile photographers will walk each city to capture images.
They will then edit and share them using the PicsArt photo-editing and collage maker app. The first 24 people to register in-person at each walk will get a free iPhone-compatible olloclip lens and matching ollo case (valued at $100).

Three In-App Contests
In addition to the photo walks, PicsArt is organizing three in-app contests: Macro Monday, Wide-Angle Wednesday and Fisheye Friday. The contests begin May 2. The company is challenging the PicsArt community to submit their most creative macro, wide-angle and fisheye photos. The winners of each contest will receive a mobile photography prize package. The package will include each of olloclip’s flagship products (valued at $365).
