Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corp. revealed the Fujifilm Instax Pal camera and Instax Mini Link 2 smartphone printer bundle. The first all-digital camera in the Instax lineup, Fujifilm designed the palm-sized Pal camera to capture spontaneous moments for printing on Instax instant film via an Instax printing device.
With the Instax Pal digital camera, you can snap photos digitally and then use the free, downloadable Instax Pal smartphone app to add photo effects. The effects include filters, text and in-app stickers.

Fujifilm Instax Pal Features
After taking an image with the Instax Pal, you transfer the digitally stored image to the Instax Pal app and print through an Instax Link smartphone printer. The printers include the Instax Mini Link, Square Link as well as the Link Wide. Or you can print your Instax Pal images with the Instax Mini Evo and Instax Mini Liplay hybrid instant cameras. The images print on Instax instant film (sold separately) in any of the available Instax Mini, Square or Wide formats. Furthermore, with the Instax Pal app, you can directly share your digital images to social media.
The smartphone app also lets you be in the photo by using its remote shooting feature and controlling the “snap” with a smartphone. Additionally, with the app, you can check composition via your smartphone before snapping the photo. And an interval shooting function takes 3, 6, 11 or 21 continuous images at 3-second intervals. Upon app transfer, you can edit them in-app before printing.
Moreover, the Instax animation function combines multiple app-transferred Pal images into an animation similar to a flipbook. If you print the animation, a QR code is printed on the photo, which you can scan with your smartphone to play the animation.
Furthermore, by selecting “L” (link) mode, the camera connects via Bluetooth to the Instax Mini Link 2 smartphone printer provided in the bundle. The camera additionally features a wide-angle lens and an app-controlled flash. Also in the bundle is a multiuse detachable ring that works as a finger strap, a simple viewfinder or a camera stand when shooting remotely.
The camera holds up to 50 images in its memory with expanded capacity via an optional Micro SD card. Plus, it records personal audio you can set as the camera’s pre-shutter sound/phrase.
Other App Functions
Using the app with the Pal, you can choose from 18 creative filters and add text to the image. Plus, you can customize the photo with in-app stickers before printing. When ready to print on Instax instant film through the app, you can select pairing with the downloaded app for the bundle-provided Instax Mini Link 2 smartphone printer, another Instax Link series smartphone printer as well as an Instax Mini Evo or Mini Liplay hybrid instant camera device. 
The Instax Pal digital camera and Instax Mini Link 2 smartphone printer bundle will offer the camera and coordinating multiuse, detachable ring in pistachio green, with the Instax Mini Link 2 smartphone printer in white. The bundle also includes a 10-pack of Instax Mini white border instant film and a DIY idea booklet. The bundle will launch in late October 2023 at a suggested retail price of $199.95.
The free, downloadable Instax Pal smartphone app will also be available in late October 2023.
Instax Mini Soft Lavender Instant Film 
Fujifilm also introduced the new Instax Mini Soft Lavender instant print film pack. It features a light purple design on a 2×3-inch Instax Mini photo. Plus, you can write words and memorable dates on the film frame.
Instax Mini Soft Lavender instant film is offered in a 10-exposure pack. In addition, it works with the Instax Pal digital camera, any Instax Mini instant camera and all Instax Mini Link smartphone printers.
The Instax Mini Soft Lavender instant film will reach retail in late October 2023. It will have an SRP of $15.75 per 10-exposure pack.
