Expanding upon its instant print product line, the Kodak Mini Shot point-and-shoot camera combines high-quality, instant color photo output with such digital conveniences as color controls, filter effects and Bluetooth connectivity.
The company said this makes it “the ideal all-in-one solution for picture taking and photo editing.” Furthermore, not only can the Mini Shot’s photographs be instantly shared with family and friends, they can also be digitally shared instantly across social media platforms.

High-quality image processing and printing is at the core of Kodak’s DNA and remain the key differentiators in its expanding instant print photography product portfolio, added Clarke. The portfolio now includes the Kodak Mini Shot instant print camera and Kodak Printomatic instant print camera, as well as the Kodak Photo Printer Dock and Photo Printer Mini Wi-Fi connected printers.
Share Capabilities
The Kodak Mini Shot instant print camera is designed for easily sharing its captured content, whether as printed photos immediately or by posts to an Instagram feed. It also offers the capability to digitally edit and enhance images.
Moreover, using its built-in Bluetooth connectivity, users can transfer images to a smart device. They can then further edit images with the free Kodak Mini Shot app. The dedicated app, for Android and iOS devices, provides a variety of filters, cropping options, stickers and also card templates. In addition, via the app any smartphone can be used as a remote shutter for group shots. It also enables it to store an extended library of photos that can be sent to the camera for printing.
Kodak Mini Shot Key Features
The Kodak Mini Shot leverages 4Pass printing technology, also known as dye-sublimation, to produce high-quality prints. It also features “the world’s smallest 4Pass all-in-one cartridge for carrying convenience.”
Moreover, using the all-in-one ink and paper cartridge, the camera can print non-bordered as well as bordered photos.
The new instant print camera provides a resolution of 10 megapixels. Photos can be viewed on its 1.7-inch LCD viewfinder before they’re printed. In addition, the camera offers autofocus, exposure, white balance and gamma color control functions. 
The camera creates credit-card-sized (2.1×3.4 inches) as well as square (2.1×2.1 inches) adhesive-backed photos. An extra protective layer on the prints is said to preserve image quality and color integrity. The photo prints are also waterproof and fingerprint-proof.
The Kodak Mini Shot instant print camera comes in black, white and yellow versions. With an SRP of $99.99, it includes a Micro USB cable, a guide and 8-pack of 4Pass photo print cartridges.
