New York, NY—The Lomo’Instant Automat Glass is a compact analog instant camera for everyday shooting. Photographers can assemble endless instant images. “You never know what creative results may appear before your eyes,” the company notes. Moreover, designed by UK artist Laura Slater, the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Assemble Configure edition is now available.
The Lomo’Instant Automat Glass boasts a multicoated wide-angle glass lens. Photographers can let its intuitive zone-focusing system as well as its automatic mode adjust aperture, shutter speed and flash output. As a result, they can concentrate on crafting creative multiple and long exposures with the Splitzer and close-up lens attachments. And they can use the remote control shutter release.

In addition, this is the first instant camera with a wide-angle glass lens for bolder, sharper images, with exclusive design by Laura Slater. Slater views the world through pattern. Her work, often abstract in nature, realizes her personal interpretation of the sights around her into bright, textured artworks.
Furthermore, her Assemble/Configure collection is inspired by the collision of natural and manmade patterns in her local landscape. Instant photography also allows Slater to collect and collage images from her everyday life before turning them into something new and beautiful.
The camera shoots Fujifilm Instax mini film (not included). Its key features include a unique wide-angle glass lens. Multicoated to reduce reflections, it has a focal length of 38mm. In addition, Lomo claims its f/4.5 aperture is the largest of any other instant camera. The aperture enables the camera to offer excellent low-light performance—without using the flash.
Ideal for portraits, the camera also allows photographers to shoot as close as 12 inches to fill shots with details. In addition, the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass automatically adjusts aperture, shutter speed and flash.
What’s more, the camera’s lens cap doubles as a remote control shutter release. As a result, the photographer can join a group shot or take shake-free long exposures from up to 16 feet away.
For more creativity, photographers may also experiment with the Splitzer; close-up lens attachments; bulb mode; multiple-exposure mode; as well as color gel flash filters.
The Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Assemble Configure edition package includes the camera; a close-up lens attachment; the remote control lens cap; the Splitzer; and colored gel filters. Also included are inspirational shooting tips, magnet stickers, glue dots, photo stands and photo clips. The bundle retails for $189.
