Las Vegas, NV–At the international CES, Fujifilm introduced the Xerox Phaser 6270 photo book printer into its line of photo specialty printing products. The Xerox Phaser 6270 can produce photos on a variety of paper products, with what the company says is a low capital investment. Suited for high-margin photo specialty products like photo books, folded cards and calendars, the printer also generates business applications, including photo business cards, color brochures, flyers and direct mailers. When connected to Fujifilm MS software, it uses Fujifilm Image Intelligence technology to assure automatic adjustment of the image to produce the best quality.
Productivity-enhancing features include: automatic double-sided printing of thick paper (to 216 gsm) for calendars and cards; a small footprint that takes up minimal counter space; simple integration into existing workflow with Fujifilm MS software (a standard printer driver connects with terminals not installed with Fujifilm MS); and consumables such as toner, fuser and the belt unit are located under the top cover and are easily accessible from the front. The Xerox Phaser 6270 will be available spring 2012. fujifilmusa.com
