Kodak announced Monday two new in-store retail photo center concepts- the Kodak Picture Kiosk G4XE and Kodak 8810 Photo Printer. Both are scheduled to arrive in stores in September.
The G4XE is an order station, and is meant to be easily adaptable for all sorts of retailers. It can create either still photos or Kodak Picture Movie DVDs. The 8810 Photo Printer allows easy printing of prints, photo books, collages and calendars, as well as greeting cards.
"The G4XE Kiosk and 8810 Printer demonstrate our commitment to continuous innovation, by leading the industry to more profit from existing and new premium products. Our solutions continue to lead in their quality, flexibility and scalability – we have a solution for almost any retailer store type and configuration," Eastman Kodaks’ general manager of worldwide kiosk systems and services, Nicki Zongrone, said as part of the announcement.
