Lucidiom Adds Aviary Photo Editing Tool for Photo Finale Sharing & Ordering Site

Vienna, VA—Lucidiom announced a new photo editor for its custom white-label photo-sharing and ordering website, Photo Finale. The photo editor from Aviary replaces Picnik, which Google plans to close on April 19.

The new service is free for users and offers integrated tools to enhance, crop and adjust color. Users can apply a number of cosmetic fixes like blemish removal, teeth whitening and red-eye fix or add stickers, text or drawings. They can also experiment with photo filters, such as the type made popular by Instagram and Hipstamatic, to mimic developing, shooting and printing techniques.

Once edited, the photo is saved in the consumer’s account and can be used to order any product offered by that retailer, including prints, canvases, gifts or creative projects like photo books or calendars.

“We found a great partner in Aviary,” said Jason Pareti, Lucidiom’s CTO. “Aviary’s product offers the same features popular with our customers previously, and because it is a tighter integration into our site, customers will be able to launch, edit and save their photos with impressive speed.”
In use by more than 250 retailers in 10 countries, Photo Finale is a photo-ordering website that retailers customize with their brand and services and consumers can store images and order prints, books, cards and more.

Lucidiom is a provider of social expression imaging solutions with more than 65,000 APM photo kiosks and Photo Finale websites deployed worldwide.
