Irvine, CA—Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America introduced its Mini Photobook Maker kiosk in the U.S., starting with a trial run in several pharmacies in New York City and select retail supermarkets in the Northwest.
The kiosk enables consumers to create compact books for sharing memories of special events like vacations, weddings and family reunions, and Mitsubishi says the books “also make great gifts to capture special moments.” The process is simple: consumers select photos from their Facebook page or memory card, choose a title and cover, preview the book, and print; it’s done in five minutes.
“The mini photo book is the perfect size to pull out of your purse or bag to show your photos and share memories with friends and family,” said Flora Bell, photo system business development manager, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “The Mitsubishi Photobook Maker is the new way to print photos and the kiosk is quick, and convenient, especially with the ability to pull photos right from your Facebook page.”
The kiosk offers a high-margin add-on service for photo retailers, bookstores, entertainment venues and convenience stores. The cost for a mini photo book starts at $4.99, and there are several layout options to customize the book. mitsubishi-imaging.com
