Allendale, NJ—Leica Sport Optics introduced its first limited edition pair of binoculars for 2016: the Leica Ultravid Edition Safari. The binoculars are paired with an exclusive case and carrying strap created in collaboration with the French artisan workshop Aneas.

The Leica Ultravid Edition Safari is available in 8×42 and 10×42 models. These are each strictly limited to 100 units globally, and each binocular is marked with a unique edition serial number from 1 to 200.

With its magnesium body, the Leica Ultravid is said to be exceptionally light, despite the high light-gathering power of its 42mm objective lenses. The dark green leather trim applied to the binoculars complements the light brown leather of

the carrying strap handcrafted by Aneas. The case supplied as a part of the Edition Safari package is handmade from fine-quality canvas with light brown leather details and an additional leather carrying strap. The French artisan firm Aneas is renowned for its use of the finest leathers and elaborate finishings.
