Bethlehem, PA—OM Digital Solutions Americas introduced the M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm F1.4 Pro as the first OM System branded lens. The 40mm-equivalent, Micro Four Thirds system lens delivers feathered bokeh as well as high resolution.
Moreover, the compact, lightweight, single-focal-length lens utilizes the natural perspective of its 40mm-equivalent angle of view to offer a versatile shooting experience. The lens is an option from landscapes to portraits and snapshots.

What’s more, the new OM System lens features an 11-element, 10-group configuration. It consists of one super ED (extra-low dispersion); three ED; two super HR; as well as two aspherical lenses. With a maximum aperture of f/1.4, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm f/1.4 Pro remains compact and lightweight, weighing in at approximately 9 ounces. When paired with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III camera, the combo weighs a portable 1.5 pounds.
In addition, the lens boasts dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof construction (to 14°F): Sealed throughout, it provides IPX1-equivalent performance. Furthermore, fluorine coating on the front-most lens enables water droplets to roll off and users to easily clean off dirt.
Achieving fast, accurate autofocus, the lens also provides close-up shooting. It has a closest focusing distance of 9.9 inches as well as a maximum image magnification of 0.22x.
The OM Systm M.Zuiko Digital ED 20mm f/1.4 PRO lens will reach retail the end of December 2021. It will have a suggested retail price of $799.99.
