Ronkonkoma, NY—Professional Photographers of America (PPA) selected five Sigma lenses for their Hot Ones buyers guide for 2024. The news comes on the 25th consecutive year of Professional Photographer magazine’s Hot Ones selection.
Sigma Lenses Take Home Five Hot Ones
The five Sigma lenses chosen are the 14mm F1.4 DG DN | Art and 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports. Both were released in 2023. Moreover they are featured in the magazine’s print edition, along with the 15mm F1.4 DG DN Diagonal Fisheye | Art, 50mm F1.2 DG DN | Art, and 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports. Further, those lenses were all released earlier this year and are featured only in the online publication.
What’s more, the Sigma 14mm F1.4 DG DN | Art lens is a first-of-its-kind wide-aperture prime lens. It’s designed with specifications for astro photography in mind. Additionally, the Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports was the first to feature Sigma’s new OS2 optical stabilization. It also perfectly complements the new Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN II | Art lens.
