Ronkonkoma, NY—Sigma Corporation of America is offering two Mother’s Day bundle promotions. From May 1–10, 2016, the Sigma 18–300mm f/3.5–6.3 DC Macro OS HSM | Contemporary lens will include an instant rebate of $80 off its manufacturers suggested retail price of $579. It will also come with a free Sigma USB dock ($50 value) and a Sigma macro lens ($55 value), for a total savings of $185.

Sigma 18–300mm f/3.5–6.3 DC Macro OS HSM | Contemporary Lens

Developed for APS-C-format cameras, the Sigma 18–300mm f/3.5–6.3 DC Macro OS HSM (27–450mm equivalent) lens features a 16.6x zoom ratio that covers focal lengths from wide to telephoto, as well as a 1:3 macro ratio. To compensate for any unnecessary camera shaking or movement, it includes an enhanced optical stabilizer (OS) with an optimized hypersonic motor (HSM) built for quiet, fast autofocus. Its four FLD (fluorite-equivalent low dispersion) components and one SLD (special low dispersion) glass element are engineered to capture sharp, high-contrast images through the full focal length.

The Sigma macro close-up lens is exclusively for the Sigma 18–300mm lens. It enables zoom-macro photography with changeable angles of view and has a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.

This is the first hyper-telephoto zoom from the Sigma Contemporary line. It was designed with maximum portability and to marry image quality with long-reach photographic capabilities. It includes a quiet, optimized hypersonic motor (HSM) and an enhanced optical stabilizer with an accelerometer. This makes the lens suited for panning photography, such as birding, wildlife and motorsports. The 150–600mm also has a new zoom lock switch that can be locked at any focal length and a manual override (MO) switch for improved focusing control.

The Sigma USB dock enhances the 150–600mm lens by allowing for customization, including firmware updates and adjustments to the focus limiter, autofocus speed and OS view.  sigmaphoto.com
