North White Plains, NY—bMAC Group introduced a novel type of light panel that offers the benefits of flexible mats but without their drawbacks. Nanlite PavoSlim LED panels are more compact, lightweight as well as affordably priced.

“The downside of flexible mats is that the internal electronics are delicate and easy to damage from normal usage,” states Nanlite. “And setting up and breaking down takes more time because frames need to be assembled and disassembled.”

Nanlite PavoSlim LED Panel Features

In contrast to flexible mats, the PavoSlim is a lightweight LED panel that you can set up and break down quickly. What’s more, because it’s slender, it fits into tight spaces. In addition, Nanlite built the light panels tough enough to withstand years of use.

At launch the PavoSlim collection consists of two 1×1 models—the PavoSlim 60B and 60C—as well as two 2×1 models—the PavoSlim 120B and 120C. The B fixtures are bicolor with a CCT range of 2,700–6,500K. Moreover, the C versions are RGBWW with a CCT range of 2,700–7,500K. These fixtures also offer +/-150 of G/M adjustment with built-in CRMX LumenRadio and presets for 151 filters.

Additionally, the control units that come with the 1×1 PavoSlims have batteries. The 2×1 units have a single V-mount plate. Clamps are also included with the 60C and 120C for attaching the control units to round or square stands’ trusses and other objects.

Furthermore, every PavoSlim panel features a 4-pin locking plate that holds the light. Plus, an included universal holder lets you swivel and click the light into the position you need. Coupling accessories are also available that utilize the 4-pin locking plates. As a result, you can combine two PavoSlim panels together to create a larger light source.

The panels each have separate control units, with intuitive onboard controls that are within reach, even if the panels are on stands. In addition, all the panels have locking metal DMX receivers. All models also have Bluetooth for direct control with the NanLink app, as well as 2.4G for the WS-RC-C2 handheld remote and the WS-TB-1 transmitter box for bigger setups (both are sold separately). All PavoSlim panels come with a two-year limited warranty, which you can extend to three years if you register on NanliteUS.com.
