In addition, the camera offers an HD video function to record videos up to quad speed for slow motion clips. Also, a multi-focus mode stacks 4K quality images and automatically changes the depth-of-field setting to enhance creative possibilities.

In addition, the camera provides Full HD 1,920×1,080 recording at 60p/50p/24p and continuous recording up to 14 minutes. It also offers high-speed movie mode for 1,280×720 video at 1.6x, 2x, 3.3x 4x speeds.

And after photo and video capture, Bluetooth 4.1 technology enables the X-A5 to automatic transfer content to paired smart devices using the free Fujifilm Camera Remote app. The camera is also compatible with Instax Share printers, permitting the immediate transfer and printing of images directly from the camera.

Film Simulation Modes

In addition, the X-A5 allows for artistic expression through Fujifilm’s film simulation modes that are also said to boast the company’s advances in color reproduction. provides 11 film simulations, as well as 17 variations of creative filters. They include the new fog remove and HDR art filters.

It is also capable of rotating 180º, for taking high-quality self-portraits. Furthermore, when the panel is rotated 180º, the rear command dial switches to the zoom and shutter release function. It also automatically activates the eye AF function to focus on the subject’s eyes. In addition, portrait enhancer mode allows for users to select from three levels of skin-tone enhancement with touch-screen operation.

Engineered to capture crisp, intricate textures, the new lens is suitable for food and macro photography. Starting at a wide angle, the electric-powered zoom also allows for freedom in composition framing.
