“Since its initial release, Nanlink has been dedicated to combining hardware excellence with a reliable wireless control system to meet users’ needs for wireless lighting control,” the company announced. “After gathering user feedback, we are pleased to officially launch Nanlink App 2.0. It features a completely revamped visually driven user interface, optimized operational logic, and the addition of a controllable light plot. All these enhancements are aimed at providing users with an even more intuitive and effortless lighting control experience.”

Key to the upgrade is the new light plot feature. This addition empowers you to navigate lights with a graphical map. The light plot creates a different experience in two ways. Firstly, you can make a light plot by creating the scene, adding fixtures, modifiers as well as props. Consequently, team members can quickly understand the specific location of each element. This facilitates clear communication within the team.

Secondly, fixtures on the light plot can directly control the actual lighting fixtures on-set. This allows direct parameter adjustments of fixtures on the light plot, enabling you to control lighting visually. Moreover, this eliminates the need to look for fixture in a list. Tap the corresponding fixture element on the light plot for controls. Nanlite-Nanlink-app-2.0-plot

In addition, the scene creation and group control functions from the previous version of Nanlink were optimized. Improvements were also made for quick reconnection if the app or fixture is restarted.

Moreover, the newly refined user interface now has a variety of easy-to-understand icons. These icons assist in intuitively understanding statuses and parameters of the lighting fixtures. The goal was to create a smoother interactive experience, ensuring you can quickly navigate the app.

Nanlink 2.0 is now available for iOS and Android platforms. The company will also make versions for iPadOS and Android HD (tablets) available in Q2 2024.
