Melville, NY—Nikon Inc. announced an introductory trade-in offer for photographers ready to experience Nikon’s new entry–level full-frame mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z 5. The Nikon Z 5 trade-up program offers an introductory $100 bonus.
The Nikon Z 5 is a feature-packed mirrorless camera for those wanting to start their full-frame journey. Moreover, the interchangeable-lens camera is scheduled to reach customers starting on August 27.
Nikon Z 5 Trade-Up Program
Furthermore, to coincide with this release, Nikon is making an introductory trade-in offer available through September 27, 2020. Consumers can upgrade to the Nikon Z mirrorless camera system by trading in any working camera from any brand. In doing so, they will save $100 on the new Nikon Z 5, in addition to their cameras’ trade-in value.
In addition, the introductory offer is retroactively valid for customers who have already preordered the camera body at Nikon authorized dealers or the Nikon Store. It is also available to new preorders/orders of the camera body or additional lens kit configurations.
Nikon Z 5
The recently announced Nikon Z 5 boasts sophisticated features inherited from the Z 7 and Z 6 as well as Nikon’s next–generation Z mount. It does so at a price that will appeal to those new to mirrorless photography.
The ILC’s robust feature set includes a 24.3-megapixel, full-frame (FX format) CMOS sensor. It also integrates dual memory card slots and in-camera vibration reduction (VR) image stabilization. In addition to high-resolution still images, it records 4K UHD video. And its operating features include a balance of seamless automation and full manual controls.
Moreover, the camera employs a high-performance AF system that locks onto and tracks subjects throughout the frame. Another benefit is Eye-Detection AF technology for humans as well as cats and dogs.
What’s more, when the Z5 is paired with the new ultracompact Nikkor Z 24–50mm f/4–6.3 lens, it is a solution for a range of photography, from street portraits to landscapes.
