Memoire 100. A trekking pole for hiking, walking assistance and daily exercise, the Memoire 100 (MM100) extends to a maximum of 59 inches. The shaft is made from 7075 aerospace aluminum alloy with patented flick-type metal locks designed to withstand up to a 132-pound load. For mounting a camera, a 1/4–20 stud is housed in the trekking pole grip. The Memoire 100 also features a patented, lockable suspension system to help reduce strain on joints and tungsten alloy tips with three-tip selections for different terrain.
Packaged with the MM100 is a cell phone clamp and low-angle mini tripod. The phone clamp mounts to either the mini tripod or to the end of the trekking pole for high-angle phonography using the provided Bluetooth 3.0 remote shutter. When not in use, the remote shutter clips onto the trekking pole. There is also a backup battery compartment in the pole handle for storing two extra CR2032-3V batteries (not included). Memoire T2. The MMT2 features an aerospace aluminum alloy mini tripod that is lightweight yet built to withstand 66 pounds of weight. Its axial design and flexible movement allows for minimal wear and tear. Coated with automotive-grade paint, the MMT2 is said to be scratch resistant. Other features include antislip rubber feet, a large mounting plate with an antiskid pad, and strong traction material with tension to maintain the leg’s position over time. A standard 1/4-20 camera mounting post with bottom lock screw uses a D-ring for ease in tightening.
Included with the Memoire mini T2 is Giottos’s patented three-point phone clamp made of ABS plastic. This clamp is compatible with 3.5-inch to 6-inch smartphones for horizontal or vertical mounting. The torsion spring axial movement enables a 45º viewing angle, and the internal clutched gear provides flexible angle adjustment for macro photography.
