West Chester, OH—Color-Logic is now shipping the 2013 version of its software for metallic printing and special effects. Customers under maintenance contract will receive the 2013 version at no additional charge. The 2013 version of the Color-Logic software is compatible with Windows 8 and Adobe Creative Suite 6.

The new version includes improved training tools and a simplified design interface as well as Chinese capability in addition to German, French, Italian, Spanish, and English, which are already standard. Also included is collateral material that licensees can use to demonstrate their Color-Logic capability to clients.

“The 2013 version of our popular Color-Logic software is fully compatible with the latest versions of Adobe software and all current operating systems,” said Richard Ainge, Color-Logic’s chief technical officer. “We continue to add new special effects and to provide Color-Logic users with press-ready files to develop their marketing campaigns using our powerful creative materials.”

The company also announced that Color-Logic users and those on maintenance contract have free access to the Color-Logic Vault—a members-only area on the Color-Logic website that includes marketing collateral, sample files, white papers, educational video, and graphic design tips.

Color-Logic provides brand owners, product managers, corporations and advertising agencies with the ability to differentiate themselves and their clients with a simple print production process that yields special effects results. Color-Logic decorative effects use the existing workflows of printers and designers. color-logic.com
