Trumbull, CT—Océ NV, manufacturer of high-speed digital printers and wide-format printing systems, appointed Anton Schaaf president and CEO. Ernst-Jan Minnema was named chief financial officer.
Anton Schaaf, who succeeds Rokus van Iperen, joined Océ on in July 2006 as chief technology and operations officer. In October 2006 he was appointed a member of the board of executive directors of Océ, and from 1987 to 2005 he held various positions within Siemens AG, including executive vice president, member of the executive board and chief technology officer of Siemens Communications in Germany. From 2005 until his appointment at Océ, Schaaf was CTO of Deutsche Telekom AG.
Ernst-Jan Minnema joined Océ in May 2011 as senior vice president, Group Finance. Previously, from 2005 he was employed by Canon Europe NV as European finance director, Consumer Imaging Group, and later as director of European Business Integration.
As of April 1 2012, Rokus van Iperen is the president and CEO of Canon EMEA, responsible for Canon sales and marketing activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
In 2010 Océ joined the Canon group of companies with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, which comprises over 198,000 employees worldwide. Global net sales in 2011 totaled $45.6 billion. oceusa.com
