Santa Clara, CA—YesVideo and Seattle-based Bartell Drugs, the oldest family owned drugstore in the nation, expanded their photo and video transfer partnership to include direct online services.
The new service complements the over-the-counter service that Bartell Drugs and YesVideo have provided customers since 2004. Through the partnership, consumers can now take old videotapes, movie film, slides and prints and convert them to DVD format. A reduction in starting price from $29.99 to $24.99 makes this service more attractive.
“Consumers enjoy the convenience of using direct online services for all kinds of needs such as shopping and banking,” said Greg Ayres, CEO of YesVideo. “YesVideo recognizes this trend and has worked with its partners throughout the United States to provide consumers with the opportunity to easily transfer their treasured memories directly from their home. We’re excited to offer this service to Bartell Drugs customers who will have the confidence of knowing that their memories are not only being handled with utmost care during the conversion process, but are also being stored safely in YesVideo's MemorySafe online protection program.”
To place a video conversion order, Bartell customers can visit bartelldvd.com or bartelldrugs.com to place and pay for their orders online and then ship their old home memories to YesVideo. Upon completion, YesVideo’s MemorySafe online protection program will be available on a trial basis for 90 days. MemorySafe provides consumers with the capabilities to view, edit and share their newly converted memories via e-mail, iPhones/iPad and through social media.
“Bartell Drugs is a family owned business and our customers are like family,” said Howie Cohen, general merchandise buyer for Bartell Drugs. “By expanding our partnership with YesVideo, our ‘family’ can conveniently and safely convert, preserve and share their treasured memories from home or by visiting one of our many locations.” yesvideo.com
