General Imaging is showcasing their new Smart Series line that includes the C1033 (10.1MP) and C1233 (12.4MP). Both models feature 3x optical zooms, 2.4” LCDs, face detection, image stabilization, red-eye removal and are available in black, red and gray colors.
The trend at General imaging is toward easy-to-use, affordable digital cameras “that consumers can just pick up and immediately start taking great pictures with,” said Paul Meyhoefer, General Imaging’s VP Marketing. “We did some research and found that there are a lot of features consumers are simply never getting around to using so we wanted to offer a very basic and affordable, yet stylish line of digital cameras.”
