Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corp. will launch an advertising and social media campaign to showcase its Instax Mini 7S instant film camera, dubbed the Official Party Camera. The instant print camera allows consumers to instantly capture and share the moments of their lives.

The new Instax campaign, called “Life’s a Party,” will showcase the “fun and party-perfect cameras” and include advertising, social media and a photo sweepstakes that will run from November 2012 to January 2013.

Fujifilm will also use its new Instax Facebook page to host the photo sweepstakes that will give users a chance to win several prize packages by entering their party pictures on the Fujifilm Instax Facebook page.

“There is an entire generation of young people who have never experienced an instant photo print and there is a renewed enthusiasm for instant film photography. That’s why Fujifilm in North America is launching a new campaign to highlight the Fujifilm Instax line of instant film cameras, and show consumers just how fun Instax can be as the Official Party Camera,” said Manny Almeida, senior vice president and general manager, Imaging and Electronic Imaging divisions, Fujifilm North America Corporation.

The campaign also offers consumers a chance to see Instax in person. Fujifilm will display a large Instax camera and film photo booth cutout at the PhotoPlus Expo, which will be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on October 25-27 in New York City.

The Instax Mini 7S instant film camera is equipped with Fujinon optics and four selectable shooting modes. With a silken white finish, it is a sleek-looking camera that produces credit-card-size instant prints using Fujifilm Instax Mini instant film. Instax instant color film offers ISO 800 and was developed to produce sharp, clear reproduction for vivid colors, natural skin tones and super fine grain instant prints; Instax Mini film is 2×3 inches with an image area of 1.8×2.4 inches and a blank strip at the bottom so users can write a message under the photo.

The Instax Mini 7S retails for $99.99, and Instax Mini film sells for $19.99 for a twin pack of 20 sheets. fujifilmusa.com
