Canon this week announced ten new PowerShot cameras, most of which feature the company’s DIGIC 4 Image Processor. The cameras, which range in price for $129.99 to $599.99, will roll out this spring. The camera also announced a new printer.
Headlining the new line is the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS, which features the 20x wide-angle Optical Zoom lens and optical image stabilization. Also featuring recording capability, the camera will arrive in April at an MSRP of $599.99. Also on the high end is the SX200 IS, a DSLR-like small camera which features a 12x Optical Zoom lens and 720p HD Movie Mode. The camera will arrive in March at $349.99.
In addition to eight other cameras, Canon also unveiled a new printer, the SELPHY CP780. Featuring a 2.5-inch LCD screen, higher-quality imagine capability and three different colors, the printer is available in three different colors.
