Nikon’s Coolpix S9300, S6300, S4300 & S3300: Super Zooms and Compact Designs

Melville, NY—Nikon introduced four cameras into the Coolpix S series to give consumers new ways to go super zoom or super chic. The cameras include Nikon core technologies, including its smart portrait system for flattering portraits and HD video capability.

With only a 1.5-inch body, the S9300 hides a super-zoom 18x optical Nikkor ED glass lens (25-450mm), and Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization helps users capture blur-free far-off horizons or up-close action. It features a 16.0 megapixel backside-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor for capturing low-light images, Full HD (1080p) movie recording with full stereo sound and high-speed frame rates for slow and fast motion effects; and built-in GPS for geotagging images. The S9300 comes in black, red and silver. $349.95.

Coolpix S6300. Bundling a 10x optical zoom with a compact body, VR technology and a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor to capture fast action and low-light scenes, the S6300 also records Full HD 1080p movies. Additionally, 180º and 360º views are simple to create with its easy panorama mode, while creative color options let users add a personal touch to photos and movies with such in-camera effects as low key, high key, nostalgia sepia and selective color. The S6300 is offered in red, black, silver and blue. $199.95.

Coolpix S4300. A no-frills touch-screen camera that captures 16MP photos and HD video, the S4300 has a wide-angle 6x (26-156mm) optical Zoom-Nikkor glass lens, VR image stabilization, a 3.0-inch touch screen to compose, focus and capture moments, and multiple scene modes to adjust settings for optimum results. And, its auto scene selector identifies scenes automatically and sets the camera accordingly. The S4300 also features an intelligent smile shutter function that automatically recognizes when a subject is smiling and releases the shutter, and face-priority AF that can find and focus up to 12 faces. The S4300 is available in plum, black, silver, white and red. $169.95.

Coolpix S3300. This 16MP model has a 6x, 26-156mm optical Zoom-Nikkor glass lens, a slim design, an easy-to-use interface and 19 scene modes, including the scene auto selector that analyzes a scene and automatically selects from one of six scene modes.
