Sony announced Thursday that it has introduced two new Cyber-shot cameras that sport 3D technology, the smallest cameras ever to do so. The two cameras are the 3.5-inch screen DSC-TX9 and 2.8-inch screen DSC-WX5.

Both cameras include Sony's 3D Sweep Panorama feature. The 3D comes in when the photos are uploaded to compatible 3D TVs.

“Sony is focused on being the leader in 3D technology, leveraging its expertise to create the best 3D products, content and unique entertainment experiences,” Kelly Davis, director of the digital imaging business at Sony Electronics, said as part of the announcement. “Sony is making it easy to create personal 3D content that can be enjoyed with friends or family on compatible 3D television systems.”

Both cameras will arrive in September, with the TX9 going for $400 and WX5 selling for $300. A third camera, the T99, will sell for $250.
