Like all products in the Instax Link smartphone printer lineup, the Square Link includes frame templates, decorative digital stickers as well as print mode options. Further, these options permit the image maker to boost creativity with the free, downloadable Instax Square Link app.

A key feature of Square Link available through the Instax Square Link app is AR Print. It adds AR features to images users can view on their smartphones. For instance, users can add special effects, text, images, background colors, doodles and animations.

Moreover, a QR code printed on the Instax photo unlocks the augmented reality content. Users can then view the AR effects in action on and around their print by scanning the code with their smartphone.

In addition to frames and stickers, users can choose between two print mode options. Instax-Rich mode produces deep, enhanced colors. Instax-Natural mode creates a more classic look. They can also enhance smartphone images with filters or by adjusting brightness, contrast and saturation. Furthermore, they can combine nine smartphone images on a single Instax print via the app’s collage function

Compact, lightweight and finished with a striped texture, the Square Link transfers an image from the user’s smartphone and starts printing in about 12 seconds. In addition, it supports continuous printing and is capable of printing about 100 Instax prints per charge via Bluetooth. All images develop in roughly 90 seconds.

Fujifilm offers the Square Link printer in ash white and midnight green. The smartphone printer has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $139.95.
