Las Vegas, NV—Eastman Kodak Company and Prinics Co. introduced the Kodak Mini 2 instant photo printer, which is distributed in North America by C+A Global. It is on view at CES 2018, LVCC Central Hall, booth #17134.
The next generation of its mini mobile photo printer and the latest product to join the line of Kodak-branded instant print products, the Kodak Mini 2 is more compact than the original. It prints credit-card-sized (2.1×3.4-inch) photos using its 4Pass dye-sublimation printing technology.
The device’s special printing technology layers each color onto high-strength photo paper. This is said to result in long-lasting color photos that are waterproof and fingerprint-proof with an extra protective layer for preserving image quality and color integrity.
Touted the “world’s smallest dye-sub photo printer,” the portable Kodak Mini 2 comes in glossy black as well as white models. The instant printer supports iOS devices wirelessly via Bluetooth. It also supports Android-based devices via NFC connectivity or Bluetooth. Using the free Kodak Mini Shot app, smartphone photographers can access and print photos from their phones’ camera rolls, social media platforms, Google Images or even video screen grabs.
In addition, the Kodak Mini Shot app features a variety of filters, cropping options, stickers and card templates. They allow for further editing and enhancing of photos. Moreover, classic black-and-white 2.1×3.4-inch photos can also be printed in less than a minute and dry instantaneously.

The Kodak Mini 2 photo printer uses all-in-one ink and paper cartridges. The instant printer is available for $99.99. It is packaged with a Micro USB cable as well as a quick start guide.
