The TC-20M is compact and can fit in virtually any store, classroom or administrative office. In addition, retail shop owners will benefit from the TC-20M for in-store promotion and merchandising.

It can produce store signage and promotional materials in minutes for window and in-store displays without their need to outsource. Plus, a repeat copy function replicates an original copied image onto roll paper up to A1 paper size. For instance, it could produce gift wrap paper for in-store gift services.

Moreover, the desktop printer is the first Canon imagePrograf large-format model with an integrated contact imaging sensor (CIS) flatbed scanner. The scanner digitizes originals to cloud or USB. It can also produce enlarged copies of letter-size originals without a computer. Further, The TC-20M prints the most common document and poster sizes, up to 24×36 inches (ARCH D).

All print-related operations are performed from the front of the unit. This includes setting the roll or cut-sheet media, receiving printed materials, refilling ink as well as replacing maintenance cartridges.Canon-imagePROGRAF-TC-20M-wrapping

The printer also has a standard auto sheet feeder to copy and print various sizes, including A3 and A4. Roll and cut-sheet paper are loaded simultaneously, with the printer driver distinguishing and selecting the correct paper source. Moreover, an optional desktop basket will catch printed materials when the printer is used on a desk or shelf.

Furthermore, users can directly print PDF and JPEG files via a USB drive. No computer is needed. In addition, the printer’s panel screen displays previews of selected files.

Notably, a large-capacity ink tank system (bundled 70ml per color) benefits users by reducing the frequency of needing to refill. The ink slots are also color coded to prevent incorrect filling. Moreover, the printer’s pigment inks improve durability by providing water and UV light resistance.

Free design software is also available for the printer. With the PosterArtist web app, users can create posters and flyers from a variety of templates. They can also modify text and images to create an original design. New templates comprise both business-oriented (i.e., menus and flyers) and personal (i.e., photo collages and calendars).

The Canon imagePrograf TC-20M is available with a suggested retail price of $995.
