Los Alamitos, CA—Epson announced its most advanced 64-inch SureColor P series printer—the Epson SureColor P20570—is now available. Moreover, the printer was a recipient of the Printing United Pinnacle Product of the Year Award in the roll-to-roll aqueous printer (under 80-inches) category.
For fine art printing, the large-format SureColor P20570 offers a 12-channel printhead and Epson UltraChrome Pro12 ink. Thus, Epson says it delivers the widest color gamut in its class and industry-leading print permanence, according to Wilhelm Imaging Research testing.

Epson SureColor P20570 Ships
From professional photography to fine art reproductions to graphic design, the SureColor P20570 is engineered to produce details and productivity. It combines a 12-channel PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead with Nozzle Verification technology and UltraChrome Pro12 ink. The ink set includes orange, green as well as violet ink. This enables the printer to achieve a wide color gamut as well as improved black density. Further, its high-capacity 1.6L ink pack system reduces the need for frequent cartridge changes for improved efficiency and productivity.
Additionally, the SureColor P20570 has undergone ten-factor print permanence testing by Wilhelm Imaging Research. Testing comprised light-stability, long-term dark-storage and various other tests on a range of papers and canvas. Results indicate permanence of up to 200 years for color prints and 400 years for black-and-white prints.
Compatible with various photographic and fine art media, the SureColor P20570 can produces exhibition-quality prints at speeds of 200 ft/hr. What’s more, to simplify media installation, it comes with Epson Media Installer. The software application helps control parameters for printing with a variety of media, including thick fine art papers. In addition, the SureColor P20570 touts management tools to streamline production. They include Epson Edge Print Pro RIP software, with an Adobe PostScript-based engine. It also leverages Epson Cloud Solution Port 5 for production monitoring and fleet management.
The SureColor P20570 is now available for a suggested retail price of $12,295. Exclusively for use with Epson ink packs, the printer comes with a one-year limited warranty. Extended service plans are available.
