Irvine, CA—Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America announced a mail-in offer valued up to $225 (MSLP) for its newest professional photo printers, the CP-D70DW and the dual-deck CP-D707DW. Mitsubishi will send a free box of CK-D746 (4×6) or CK-D757 (5×7) media for each CP-D70 series printer purchased through December 31, 2011 with proof of purchase.

“This free media with purchase promotion is an opportunity to show our customers how much we appreciate and value their business,” said James Chan, vice president, Marketing, Mitsubishi Electric Visual Solutions America. “It’s a way to say ‘thank you’ while encouraging photographers to expand their businesses and increase their revenues through Mitsubishi products.”

The single-deck, CP-D70DW and dual-deck, CP-D707DW are compact, high-speed, high-capacity professional photo printers suited for a variety of applications, including event, studio and high-speed photo printing. Weighing 23 pounds, the CP-D70DW printer delivers a 4×6-inch photo in 8.4 seconds. The larger CP-D707DW dual-deck printer produces 4×6 photos in about 5.9 seconds when the same media is loaded in both paper paths, or the same size media can be loaded into each of the printer’s two paper paths to produce two different print sizes.

Mitsubishi Electric recently added a 2×6-inch multi-cut function to the CP-D70 series printers. Along with photo-editing software, this new function produces the familiar 2×6-inch photo strips, making the printer geared for photo booth applications. The 2×6-inch multi-cut firmware and driver updates are available from Mitsubishi Tech Support: 888-307-0309 or TechSupport@MEVSA.com.

Both printers have a print resolution of 300 dpi along with advanced printhead technology developed to augment image clarity and sharpness. The CP-D70 series printers are engineered to offer the same output and reliability of Mitsubishi’s other models, but with a much smaller footprint. mitsubishi-imaging.com
