Irvine, CA—Toshiba’s Digital Products division introduced three 1080p Full HD Camileo camcorders—the AIR10, which allows users to wirelessly upload videos and photos to social networks; the Clip, which enables consumers to film their adventures hands-free; and the Z100 3D, which captures memorable moments in 3D. All three will be available in the first half of 2012.

Camileo AIR10. This camcorder wirelessly uploads videos and photos in 1080p Full HD to a computer and social networks, including YouTube, Facebook, Picasa and Twitvid, from anywhere with a Wi-Fi connection. The compact, lightweight, candy-bar-style camcorder also doubles as a wireless webcam and permits wireless broadcasts online via USTREAM. It features a 2.0-inch TFT LCD, a 5 megapixel backside-illuminated CMOS sensor and 16x digital zoom. Setup is made simple via built-in software that syncs the camcorder to a computer with the press of one button. $149.
Camileo Clip. Billed the “ultimate young adventurer’s ideal tool,” it packs features typically found in full-size camcorders into a compact design. This ruggedized splash-resistant and shockproof mini candy-bar-style camcorder comes with a built-in clip that snaps it on to clothing or a belt, so users can capture every second of their hike or climb in 1080p Full HD hands-free. The Clip is ultraportable, weighing 2.5 ounces and measuring 3.1×1.8×0.6 inches. It provides electronic image stabilization and a variety of colors, including blue, red, lime green and white. $99.99.
Camileo Z100 3D. Giving video enthusiasts the ability to capture memories in both 2D and 3D on a single device, this camcorder permits consumers to make their digital scrapbooks and family DVDs come to life with 3D images. This Full HD barrel-style camcorder is equipped with a 2.8-inch glasses-free 3D touch-screen LCD that displays both 2D and 3D content. It also offers 120x digital zoom in 2D mode and 8x digital zoom in 3D mode, and an HDMI port to connect it to a 3D TV. $219. us.toshiba.com
