ON1 Photo RAW 2020, ON1 Photo Mobile, ON1 Video & ON1 Sync Revealed

Portland, OR—In the coming months, ON1 will deliver a line of photo and video products for all levels of photographers, to provide an integrated creative workflow. The first to arrive this fall is the next major release of ON1 Photo RAW 2020, a professional-grade photo organizer, RAW processor, layered editor and effects app. ON1-2020 On1 Photo Raw 2020

“ON1 puts the photographer first; this means customers have complete control over every aspect of their photography. This includes having a say in the products ON1 develops. Photographers also control how they purchase ON1 software; where they store photos; their choice in capture devices; as well as their choice in cloud storage provider,” the company announced. “Having total control over photographic and video editing style is also central to using ON1 products.”

ON1 Photo RAW 2020

Significant new features include AI-powered functions like AI Match and AI Auto; four filters in Effects (weather, sun flare, color balance, channel mixer); custom camera profiles with X-Rite, SmugMug integration; improved noise reduction; a map view; and a print module. There are also speed and performance enhancements.

The company is also updating the entire preset library and adding new looks and styles curated from today’s photographic trends. Moreover, for the first time, ON1 Photo RAW will come in eleven languages. They will include English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch.

In addition, ON1 will release a public beta in mid-September. The company will also announce details regarding the complete feature set and pricing for ON1 Photo RAW 2020 at that time.

ON1 Photo Mobile 2020

The new ON1 Photo Mobile app will support both iOS and Android devices. Furthermore, it will allow users to capture RAW photos on a smartphone using pro-level controls similar to those on an interchangeable-lens camera.

The new app will also include photo-editing tools for color and tone, enhancing shadows, removing distractions or adding vignettes from ON1 Photo RAW.

ON1 Sync

In addition, a new optional service add-on, ON1 Sync, will enable users to wirelessly send RAW photos from ON1 Photo Mobile to ON1 Photo RAW on desktop or laptop computers. Most noteworthy, they will export with the nondestructive editing settings intact. Users can also push edits from ON1 Photo RAW on a desktop or laptop computers back to the app. As a result, the app is part of a complete, open, photo-editing and organizing system. On1-Photo-syncMoreover, the ON1 Sync service will provides users control of their photos. They can view and edit photos on all their devices without having to store them in the cloud or a closed system. The new service will also sync albums and presets between all of a user’s devices.

“ON1 Sync gives you the benefits of the cloud for less and allows you to control where your photos live. You can store your photos on your desktop or laptop computer, an external hard drive, in any of the popular cloud services or on your mobile devices,” the company added.

Further, because a user’s privacy is important, using the ON1 Sync service does not grant ON1 any additional rights to the content syncing with this service. ON1 does not have permission to use the photos for image analysis or any sort of marketing purposes. This services launches in early 2020.

ON1 Video 2020

ON1 also announced ON1 Video 2020, a new video-editing app explicitly for photographers. The company asserts photographers will not have to learn complex videography terminology to quickly create clips. ON1 Video is a simple video editor that removes the learning curve of other video editors.

It is an option for wedding, action and drone photographers. Features include tools for trimming, enhancing, adding audio tracks, grading and sharing video clips using tools, adjustment sliders and techniques typically found in a photo-editing workflow.

Additional features will include the ability to create time-lapse videos, slideshows, high-quality still-frame captures and integration with ON1 Photo RAW. A public beta for ON1 Video launches mid-November; the final release is in early 2020.
