Thornwood, NY—Zeiss expanded its Victory line of premium binoculars with the launch of the Zeiss Victory 8×25 and 10×25 Pocket binoculars.
“Thanks to their compact size, low weight and modern design, combined with the best optics in their class, Zeiss is setting a new standard in the compact binoculars segment,” said Tammo Lüken, product manager at Carl Zeiss Sports Optics GmbH. “In addition to extremely high-quality color fidelity, image definition and contrast, the Zeiss Victory Pocket binoculars also impress with the widest field of view currently available in their class: up to 130 meters [142 yards] with 8x magnification and 105 meters [115 yards] with 10x magnification at a range of up to 1,000 meters.”
Designed with an asymmetrical bridge, the pocket binoculars fold to a minimum size. In addition, they weigh a portable 10.23 ounces and are designed for one-handed operation. The Victory Pocket binoculars fit in a pants or jacket pocket.
Zeiss Victory Pocket Binoculars
Geared for all kinds of outdoor applications, the lightweight binoculars offer high magnification and FL lenses with a Zeiss T* multilayer coating plus a LotuTec coating. LotuTec was developed to ensure that water drips right off the binoculars and that dirt can be easily removed. In addition, the optical performance of these binoculars is rounded off by a wide field of view.
Furthermore, the binoculars are 100% waterproof and filled with nitrogen, so that even extreme changes in temperature will not cause internal misting. Also, rubber armor makes these binoculars shockproof and offers the first line of protection for the optics inside. Both models operate in temperatures from -13ºF to 145ºF.
Victory Pocket 8×25
Due to its large field of view, the folding 8×25 model is suited for observation at short distances . It has a magnification of 8x, an effective lens diameter of 25mm and also a diopter adjustment range of +/- 3 dpt. Its close focus distance is 6.2 feet. In addition, it measures 4.4×3.9 inches.
Victory Pocket 10×25
With a high magnification of 10x and a small pack size, the Victory Pocket 10×25 it ideal for hiking. It has an effective lens diameter of 25mm and the same diopter adjustment range as well as close focus distance as the 8×25. It also measures 4.4×3.9 inches.
