Poway, CA—Delkin Devices added to its line of memory products with the Delkin Black CFexpress Type-A memory card. What’s more, the latest high-speed memory card format, CFexpress Type-A cards leverage the latest technology to provide professional-level performance. Delkin manufactures flash storage solutions and camera accessories.
A different form factor than CFexpress Type-B, Type-A cards are physically smaller; however, they utilize the same PCI Express technology. The cards utilize a third generation PCI Express interface as well as support NVM Express. They are also rated Video Performance Guarantee 400 (VPG 400).
“Smaller and even more powerful than SD cards, CFexpress Type-A memory cards are establishing a new standard for future storage solutions,” said Jenn Sherry, Delkin’s Retail Sales & Marketing Manager.
“With mirrorless cameras slowly moving more into the cinema realm, offering modes that are extremely data-heavy, it is even more essential to provide a memory card that can meet these demands. The market is small at the moment, but we are optimistic about the potential growth of CFexpress Type-A and its future adoption in the next-generation of cameras.”

In addition, Delkin’s Type-A cards are capable of offloading data at speeds reaching up to 880 MB/s. Consequently, they help ensure quick, efficient data transfer from card to computer for immediate file access and sooner postproduction start times.
Furthermore, each Black CFexpress Type-A memory card has undergone extensive testing for full functionality and performance in today’s high-end cinematic hosts. They include the Sony Alpha 1, 7S III and 7 IV, as well as the FX3 and FX6.
Along with their lifetime warranty policy, Delkin also continues to offer a built-in insurance policy for their Black memory cards. With the 48-Hour Replacement Guarantee, Delkin will replace any nonworking Black card within 48 hours or less (not including weekends), prior to receiving the nonworking card.
