The new cards utilize a fourth-generation PCI Express interface as well as support NVM Express. Further, Delkin Power G4 CFexpress Type B cards boast maximum potential recording speeds up to 1700 MB/s for cinema-quality video capture. What’s more, the cards support 8K, 6K and 4K recording at high frame rates and bit rates.
The cards also offer sustained sequential write speeds that exceed 1490 MB/s (805 MB/s for 128GB–512GB). This is especially beneficial for videographers and filmmakers shooting with high-end cinema cameras that capture RAW video at Gbps rates.
In addition, the cards are capable of offloading data at speeds reaching up to 1780 MB/s. “Delkin Power G4 CFexpress Type B cards ensure the quickest, most efficient data transfer from card to computer for immediate access to your files and sooner postproduction start time,” the company stated.
Furthermore, each card has undergone testing to ensure full functionality and performance in today’s high-end hosts. As a result, Delkin’s new cards are solutions for today’s broadcast, cinema and photography industries.
Note, however, that CFexpress Type B memory cards are not backward compatible with CFexpress Type A, CFast 2.0 or CompactFlash host devices.
