Fountain Valley, CA—Kingston Digital introduced the Kingston DataTraveler Max Type-A flash drive. Along with the DataTraveler Max USB Type-C model, both drives leverage the latest USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard.

The DataTraveler Max series delivers speeds of up to 1,000MB/s read and 900MB/s write. Kingston Digital also designed the DT Max with portability in mind. Moreover, the Type-A DT Max features a merlot and black design with a Type-A connector. The original DT Max features an all-black design with a Type-C connector.

In addition, a ridged casing protects the connector when it is not in use. Notably, the drive transfers and stores large digital files such as HD photos, 4K/8K videos and music with top speeds and high capacities up to 1TB. The addition of a keyring loop and LED status indicator makes the drive an option for on-the-go storage.

The DataTraveler Max series is available in capacities from 256GB to 1TB. It is offered with the following suggested retail prices. DataTraveler Max Type-C or Type-A: 256GB, $62.99; 512GB, $105.99; and 1TB, $179.99.

In addition, the drives are backed by a five-year warranty with free technical support.
