San Jose, CA—The Lexar 512GB CFexpress flash memory card was introduced into the Lexar CFexpress Type-B Diamond card series lineup. The expanded capacity allows photographers as well as videographers more freedom when shooting on location or in studio.

Lexar 512GB CFexpress Type-B Diamond Card
The new CFexpress Type-B Diamond card achieves transfer speeds of up to 1900MB/s as well as write speeds up to 1700MB/s. In addition, it boasts a minimum write speed of 1600MB/s.
Furthermore, featuring PCIe Gen 3×2, NVMe high-speed protocols along with its write speed of 1700MB/s, the card captures RAW images as well as ProRes and 8K video.
It also meets the VPG400 specification for professional-quality video. This means it’s guaranteed to capture video streams at a minimum guaranteed write speed of 400MB/s when used with compatible host devices and recording media.
Moreover, the CFexpress Type-B Diamond series supports firmware-enabled CFexpress cameras and XQD cameras. With this new offering, the series is available in 512GB, 256GB and 128GB capacities.
For peace of mind, Lexar designed the Diamond card series as shock- and vibrationproof. The cards are also resistant to extreme temperatures (14°F–158°F).
The 512GB Lexar Professional CFexpress Type-B Diamond memory card has a suggested retail price of $529.99.
