San Jose, CA—Western Digital introduced a lineup of solutions from its SanDisk brand. The company enhanced its SanDisk memory card portfolio to satisfy consumers’ needs for more storage both at home and on the go.

Following are highlights of the new product lines and versions that help expand storage for a range of use cases.

SanDisk Pro-Cinema CFexpress Type B Card

Launched recently ahead of IBC 2023, SanDisk Pro-Cinema CFexpress Type B cards are built to provide the professional performance needed to deliver high-quality cinematic footage. Furthermore, with minimum sustained write speeds of 1400MB/s, the SanDisk Pro-Cinema CFexpress Type B card permits you to capture cinema-quality 8K video without dropping frames.

Moreover, the cards feature a durable enclosure that can withstand up to a 3.3-foot drop and up to 11.2 pounds-force. The new card is also Pro-Reader and Pro-Dock 4 compatible. Consequently, you can pair Pro-Cinema CFexpress cards with the SanDisk Professional Pro-Reader CFexpress and Pro-Dock 4 devices (sold separately) for scalable, simultaneous offloads.

What’s more, the cards are compatible with RED, Nikon, Fujifilm and Canon cameras. Available now, SanDisk Pro-Cinema CFexpress Type B cards currently come in two capacities. They have the following suggested retail prices: 320GB, $399.99; 640GB, $699.99. Both come with a lifetime limited warranty.

Updated SanDisk USB Flash Drive Offerings

SanDisk’s refreshed USB flash drives allow you to take and store more photos. In addition, you can access your content across different devices, including smartphones, tablets and computers. The multi-connector flash drives also come in new colorways.

The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C

This all-metal 2-in-1 flash drive features reversible USB Type-C and Type-A connectors. The drives are available in gold and silver versions. Furthermore, they automatically back up photos using the SanDisk Memory Zone app. Available in up to a 1TB capacity, this drive offers a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface for quick file transfers.

The Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C flash drive in silver is available now with the following capacities and SRPs: 32GB, $10.79; 64GB, $11.69; 128GB, $15.49; 256GB, $21.99; 1TB, $79.99 (512GB are available via a sales inquiry). The gold version will come in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB versions for $22.99, $32.99 and $57.99, respectively. SanDisk expects to start shipping the gold-toned drives by the winter season.

This simple-to-use storage works across USB Type-C and Type-A devices. The Go drives also now offer up to 400MB/s transfer speeds. A dual-purpose swivel design helps to protect the connectors while on the go.

What’s more, this flash drive is available in absinthe green, lavender and navagio bay in the following capacities and SRPs: 64GB, $14.99; 128GB, $21.99; 256GB, $32.99. It also comes in black 32GB ($9.19), 64GB ($10.49), 128GB ($14.99), 256GB ($21.79) 512GB ($35.99) and 1TB ($109.99) versions.

SanDisk Outdoors SD and microSD UHS-I Cards

For trail cameras and other devices used outside, the SanDisk Outdoors line of cards delivers the performance required to capture footage in up to 4K quality. In capacities up to 512GB, these cards are available in HD, Full HD and 4K varieties to ensure support for a range of host devices.

In addition, the new cards sport a vivid blaze orange enclosure to help ensure they stand out whether dropped on the forest floor, in fields and water or when used in low light. Further, specs say they can withstand extreme temperatures from -13°F to 185°F. They can also handle submersion in 3.3 feet of fresh or salt water for up to 72 hours. Moreover, the SanDisk Outdoors 4K SD UHS-I card also withstands relative humidity of 95% while in use.

The Outdoors SD and microSD cards are available now for preorder through the Western Digital Store. They will ship by the end of November. SRPs start at $16.99 for a 64GB 4K SD card and $11.99 for the 32GB 4K microSD card. All cards are backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
