Malibu, CA—U.S. toy and consumer products manufacturer JAKKS Pacific signed an agreement with several prominent action sports figures to promote its new Action Shot camera system: professional skateboarder, entrepreneur and television star Rob Dyrdek; freestyle motocross legend and NASCAR star Travis Pastrana; 2012 X-Games BMX freestyle gold medalist Scotty Cranmer; and Big Air/Mega Ramp up-and-comer Alex Sorgente.
The Action Shot camera system is a portable mini-camera that captures the first-person point of view of the thrills of action and adventure-seeking sports buffs who skate, surf, ski, snowboard, BMX, motocross and more.

The Action Shot camera system is designed to provide sports and adventure aficionados with a front row view of their exploits. The camera attaches to skateboards, bikes or helmets with its mounting system and can record up to two minutes of feats. Users can upgrade with more memory using an optional microSD memory card. The footage can be uploaded to a computer through the built-in USB port and then uploaded to social media websites.
The Action Shot camera system ships this month with a suggested retail price of $49.99. The HD (high-definition) Action Shot camera system will also be available; it will retail for $99.99. jakks.com
