San Diego, CA—Sony introduced two 4K camcorders for content creators—the Sony PXW-Z200 and HXR-NX800. Both feature several upgrades and enhancements, including 4K UHD 60p video capability, a new zoom lens as well as AI-based autofocus. Moreover, the new camcorders are options for back-to-school events, sporting events, livestreaming productions as well as house of worship services.

Aside from connectivity functions, the features shared by the camcorders include:

Sony PXW-Z200 4K Added Features
In addition, the PXW-Z200 adds SDI broadcast I/O, timecode and future MXF wrapper support (2025). Along with the HDMI and USB connections, 12G-SDI input and output was also added. Consequently, the PXW-Z200 fits into multi-camera productions with SDI cameras.
