As wireless technology continues make its mark in the imaging space, HiTi Digital showcased an interesting set up for event photographers at the recently concluded PMA. The HiTi Direct Wireless Printing Solution allows users to transmit images from a PictBridge compatible digital camera using the HiTi WFT510 wireless “foto” transmitter to their P510Si standalone roll-type photo printer. The P510Si includes a an embedded wireless function as well.
This technology is truly about freedom for the photographer as the equipment is so portable the shooter is free to move around on the shoot while the images are printing.
HiTi Digital explains that the WFT510, “is now the only wireless foto transmitter designed to work with the PictBridge compatible digital cameras on the market.” The product won last year’s DIMA Innovative Digital Product Award. By installing WFT PC Kit, bundled with WFT510, users can also transmit image data directly to a computer, adding to the flexibility of this solution. www.hiti.com
